Hang Seng Bank’s headquarters in Hong Kong has been reimagined by Woods Bagot to reflect the bank’s forward-looking vision of “ever-growing innovation.” BEE Incorporations supported the project in achieving both LEED ID+C and WELL Platinum certification, integrating sustainability, health, and comfort into every aspect of its design and operation.

Key Sustainability Highlights

• Height-adjustable desks, smart lighting, and acoustic design enhancing comfort and flexibility
• Biophilic elements such as indoor greenery and algae-based carbon absorption technology
• Rooftop garden with edible plants for relaxation, community, and improved microclimate
• Flexible work zones supporting both focused and collaborative work styles
• Design inspired by Hong Kong’s harbor and cityscape, reinforcing a strong sense of place
• Wellness programs like “We Care” and “Sustainability Week,” plus counseling and wellbeing surveys
• Refreshment stations offering healthy snacks and social spaces
